The Petzl DUO Z1 has an Explosive Environment Certification for safety while working around natural gas and other explosives. If you need a headlamp that is certified for explosive environments, you don’t want to choose something that some fly-by-night Chinese company put together. Petzl has been making great headlamps since the 1970’s. All of these lights are very high quality and you won’t be disappointed buying one.
The Petzl DUO S is in a class all its own. There is nothing like it on the market anywhere. This headlamp is the upgrade to the Petzl ULTRA RUSH which we absolutely loved (and still do). If we had the money, we’d have a couple of the DUO S models instead… they’re that good.
